It isn't a great experience to switch between Chrome and a pop-up window to compose an email. It'd be great if Missive had a composer in the main tab.

At long last! Latest version now has a “Open drafts in new window” setting. Enabled by default on browsers and disabled on desktop apps.

Etienne Lemay: Love it! Just turned it on for my OS X app.

A common behavior I see myself doing is:

Start composing a new message
Switch to a different application
Switch back to Missive, realize it didn't open the draft window, 4 finger swipe up to find the draft window

This will definitely be better.

And maybe a nice little link to do so at the bottom of the email where the reply section will open.

would be great to have the same for the DESKTOP version:
it will much faster
+ on MacbookPro 13 font size is bit too small (especially when working with emails many hours a day). I use Zoom In which does not help when composing a new email! I need to zoom in that popup window too each time.
