Drag attachments from Missive into another program
Denny Cave
Most email apps I've used me to drag and drop files from the app straight into another app or website. So I'd expect a file can be pulled from Missive, for example, and dropped straight into an upload prompt on Dropbox or WordPress website.
In the current version, however, drag and drop only works from Missive to Finder. Drag it anywhere else and the other app doesn't recognize that I'm trying to drop a file on it. So I have to drag from Missive to Finder, then grab and drag from Finder to the app I need the file in, then go back and delete the app out of Finder because I didn't really need it there in the first place.
Would love to eliminate all of those extra steps :D

This is a significant blocker for the company-wide adoption of Missive. Is there any eta on this? Is it not possible?

Has this been resolved? I still can't drag and drop to another application. This actually is the main factor why I have not been using Missive as my main email application.

YES! I keep trying to do this and get surprised repeatedly when it doesn’t work.

Dragging attachments from Missive still has issues - especially when selecting multiple files in a Missive email and then dragging them to a folder (ie. desktop) or to another Missive email. When you drag and multiple files are selected, sadly only ONE file will drag. Very disappointing. This is such a simple thing but a very surprising and major inconvenience that has resulted in mistakes being made with attachments and an overall slower, non-intuitive workflow.

Definitely surprised such a good program doesn't do this.

We recently began needing a pdf that gets emailed to us in another program. Was surprised this did not work.
