Latest update (v9.41.0) lets you set Missive as your default iOS email app

I'm sure this coming soon. But, I this is essential to our workflow.

Just like anything Apple, Missive first has to be approved by Apple before we can enable this setting. We’ve been in contact with them and are awaiting to be reviewed / approved. We were not given any ETA and let’s just say that they’re not the most responsive support out there.
