Remove self from a conversation
John Bell
This is particularly useful for teams that don't use assignments in shared inboxes, and someone gets tagged, and then have to see these pop up in Unassigned when they're not even on the team.
Gabriel Brunner
Is this not the same as Stop Watching?
Geoff Ball
Gabriel Brunner: To me they're different. I can tell Missive to stop watching a conversation but it will still return to my inbox when there's a new email. Removing myself from the conversation would prevent all the noise when I'm not involved.
Gabriel Brunner
Geoff Ball: this shouldn't happen, should it, missive team?
Geoff Ball
Gabriel Brunner: Sorry for the delay. I just got back from holidays and was able to test it again. When I have been added to a conversation and an email is sent or received, it comes back to my inbox with a notification even when I chose not to watch the conversation. I'd like to be removed entirely from the conversation so that I am only notified if (1) I'm included on the email directly (To, CC, BCC) or (2) I am added back. Yes, this would be useful for conversations you don't need to be notified about unless someone ping's you by name.
