Philippe Lehoux: you've literally just changed my life! Thank you for this! :)

Does no one else just use a Pin on the sidebar as a to-do list with checkboxes? Our team each has a To do list pin that other members can add to. I would like to see the Trello introduction, but Todoist seems redundant if using missive and the ios app.

I'm closing this post given we are currently working on the Asana integration and it's not practical to list all integrations in one request.
You should go upvote request for specific integrations, those already exist:
For the other ones, you can create new posts.

The ultimate workflow we are after.....
- Client request comes in via via email/sms/phone.
- If its a quick email, we respond (perhaps with some collaboration in Missive).
- When its not an immediate response, we need to track the request as a task/ticket/todo, etc - possibly assigning it to someone.
- We need to track these tasks from the initial request until its completed, billeable time is recorded and billed to the client.
Losing track of tasks and billable time jumping app to app is a real problem for us. The idea would be a single app with an email inbox, tasks, project management, time tracking, invoicing and bonus for CRM and Client Portal.
Collaborative email is a requirement for us, but none I have found handle the entire worflow.
A few favs apps that handle task tracking, time tracking and invoicing:
- Paymo (all-in one tasks/time/invoice/payments)
recent updates to task management are great
very active development
-ClickUp (uses Harvest for invoicing)
very modern, developing at a fast rate and they are looking for integration partners. Probably my favorite task manager.
- Avaza (all-in one tasks/time/invoice/payments)
Task tracking, time/billing requires integration
- Asana
- Trello
- Azendoo
- ToDoist
- Flow
- Trigger (includes good PM features)
Zoho has an interesting collaborative mail product, if they linked it to their ticketing system (Desk) which pushed time entries to the TimeSheet/Billing system (Invoice) - it would be great.
The individual apps are good, but the integrations betweeen them are always incomplete.
I'm desperage for something.
Every week I check on Collab email apps (HelpScout, Front, Kayako, TeamSupport, SupportBee, ....). Strangely, they all fall short in time tracking/billing or they are so epensive ($50+/user) its cost prohibitive for a growing company).
Paymo is probably my favorite, escpecially considering that no other integrations are required. Asana/Trello/Clickup also would be excellent.
I'd probably use whichever product Missive decides to integrate with.
Sorry about length of this... I started tying and couldn't stop :-)

https://clickup.com/ ? Anyone looked at this?

This is probably gonna get hard, as already so many different platforms have been requested. I'd give my vote for Trello, and a simple option to create a card (with options to choose which board and list) from an e-mail would be enough.
Tim Jasper
e.no | Eno Thiemann: It might be "easier" (and better for everyone) if Etienne Lemay Rafael Masson Philippe Lehoux enhance missive's current task management offering... :). Then we'd have email, chat, and tasks all in one. Isn't that the end goal?
e.no | Eno Thiemann
Tim Jasper: This would bind everyone to Missive, and I certainly won't be able to convert all of my colleagues and customers to join (a paid plan by) Missive. Thus I would prefer a well-defined, feature-packed Task Management over one in the box.
Philippe Lehoux
e.no | Eno Thiemann: There is room for both. :)

Is integration with Asana and/or Paymo on the cards anytime soon? - this would make our lives a million times easier!!
Philippe Lehoux
Steph Middleton-Foster: Yes & no, as we plan to do it soon, but it's not the next things we are gonna work on. To make our life easier when we start working on this could you tell me the exact actions you want to be able to do from Missive and the data from Asana you want to display in Missive?
Svetlana Malakhova
Philippe Lehoux: Can I tell the same for Todoist?
Philippe Lehoux
Svetlana Malakhova: yes, of course!
Steph Middleton-Foster
Philippe Lehoux: Ok thanks!
So there is an Asana for Gmail app that works simply and quite nicely (not perfect!) It sits in the inbox and you can click "add to Asana" - you select the asana Account & Project to assign it to, add a user, choose due date and can choose whether to use the email content as the task content, or manually add a title and description. Support for custom fields in Asana would also be fabulous (e.g. we have custom fields for "Priority" and "Task Progress".)
I'm sure I am asking too much, but think what might work well is when a task is created in Missive as part of an email/conversation thread, this links to / creates the task in Asana and we can add rules so if the email is already assigned to a user, that user is assigned to the task in Asana.
What would also be wonderful is if we could see in a sidebar in Missive the associated task from Asana, with the associated task notes - so when a new email comes in, we can right away see the progress of the job and all communication in one place.

Philippe Lehoux: Front does it very well. I highly recommend you to check it out.
We are an agency, we manage clients through Missive (yay!) and whatever they request, we go to Asana to assign tasks to the right person. Some or most of our employees still use gmail to assign tasks using Asana widget. So they stay in one place and take care of multiple clients withouth leaving their inbox. Most importantly, they don't have to copy paste, or download attach, all to content goes with it ( they can even edit the content ).
