Attempt to automatically reconnect to email server when "Email account disconnected" happens

Our IMAP server regularly loses connection with Missive, displaying the "Email access revoked" message in the yellow bar at the bottom of the screen. The only action required to fix it is to click "Save changes" in the Account settings, so I'd assume this should be done automatically (probably using exponential backoff or similar).

Missive does not show the yellow “revoked“ banner as soon as it fails to connect. We do use a retry technique similar to an exponential backoff. Our current strategy is to show the revoked banner when Missive fails to connect to your account at least twice over 30 consecutive minutes. We think this is a reasonable delay before notifying users of the connection issue.
However, your point stands. Missive could, even once the revoked banner is shown, continue connection attempts so that some of these issues get resolved without user intervention.
