Just added this integration. Any chance a future update may include custom fields when creating contacts or deals? That would be great for us as we need to set the language of each contact. Any info on this?

I would like to bring your attention back to this idea. Recently Pipedrive has released an automation feature which lets create rules for different events. And we started to use it more often and even moved all our tasks from Todoist to Pipedrive. So it would be great if we could create Pipedrive contacts and deals directly from Missive. Also it would be great of any activity in Pipedrive (i. e. tasks) could be copied to Missive as tasks, and if you mark them as done in Missive they are automatically marked as done in Pipedrive.

We abandoned Pipedrive from our new CRM testing on this basis as we use 'team@company" email addresses. We did actually try adding a specific Pipedrive user for the team email but this didn't allow any of the other Pipedrive users to 'see' or properly access the "team" email content, particullaly when trying to add into Pipelines. We used Front to integrate with Pipedrive and although it feels lovely, the actual functionality was badly flawed - particullarly given the user cost with both Apps in place.
Very interested to see if Missive does a better job of gettig around Pipedrive's email limitations. :-)

Bruce Burton: That’s why we are using Missive. There’s no such functionality in Pipedrive. We’ll see how the integration will work in this case.

Yes, this is a very needed feature for us too. We also use Pipedrive, but now we have to manually enter all the information. It would be great if we could sync Missive tags with Pipedrive deal's stages. One thing Front is missing in its Pipedrive integration is an ability to update custom fields for contacts and deals. So if you have any custom fields set up, you still have to go to Pipedrive to update them.

Svetlana Malakhova: just wonderd why don't you use a native Pipedrive inbox? Can you share your case just for better understanding? I'm thinking right now how to setup sales dep communication so that would be helpful :)

Artur Abadzhian: One of the main reasons is that we use a shared inbox, i. e. all emails arrive at hello@iloveip.ru. As far as I know, there is no way to use a shared inbox in Pipedrive. Also there are no shared templates. So for us Missive is much better.
