With Salesforce sorely lacking an email client I would HIGHLY recommend this be a Salesforce App in the Appexchange and/or create a Salesforce Integration to be able to view the contact and associated tasks, events meetings, opportunities...etc.

I would upgrade to the highest tier and buy twice as many Missive licenses if a halfway decent Salesforce integration was created.

Enterprise edition SF.
Feature 1: ability to automatically (and also manually select) log an email to a Lead, Account, Contact, Client, Person Account, or Opportunity record.
Calendar sync is a bonus and eliminates the need to purchase some other apps.

We are exploring a possible Salesforce integration for Missive, and I have a few questions.

What is your current subscription plan on Salesforce? This is important for use, to make sure we use a Salesforce API accessible to most of our users.
What features would you like in an integration? List a maximum of 2, the most important ones.

View contacts, accounts and opportunities related to conversations. Plus links to the respective objects in Salesforce.

Philippe Lehoux: We are on the enterprise plan so we have API access. Standard objects similar to Pipedrive integration - seeing the contact, account they are related to, opportunities, and being able to log a note are the highest priority for us. Just getting more context into our data alongside conversations.

There's a useful integration with gmail (native gmail web client) - Missive should just have feature parity with that integration/widget.
