I would love to be able to trigger actions from conversations, assignments or emails received from a certain address to notify Slack or update a line in airtable or on a google sheets (amongst the million other things you could do with Zapier).
It’s been about 3 years since this received any activity. Is this off the table?
Just to add to this - Zapier or Integromat (which is sort of the better version of Zapier, lol). OR just general webhook integration so we can use whatever we want. 👍🏻
@Eric M 🐿: We offer webhooks via rules https://missiveapp.com/help/api-documentation/webhooks
@Philippe Lehoux: I am not a developer, but do you think I could use the webhooks to create a new task in ClickUp when I do something in Missive? I know I could with Zapier but wasn't sure about webhooks. Thanks.
@Ronald Jones: See this tutorial on setting up a Missive rule that sends a webhook to Zapier: https://missiveapp.com/help/api-documentation/zapier
You can set the rule to be triggered upon applying a label or posting a chat comment containing a particular string of text.
Yes please! This would be an absolute game changergame changer! :D
Please get to this asap! please, please, please. This is a must.
Yes please. Having an integration with Zapier would absolutely change the game for missive.
Zapier integration will open up so many more useful integrations, for eg., being able to send content from an email into case notes on a CRM by adding a label titled "crm"; or creating a task in a to-do app like Todoist, that uses the email's subject line by adding a label titled "to-do"; etc. I'm a big user of Zapier to connect up all my daily work, and would love to see this as a a possible future feature.
Absolutely need this to replace Slack incoming webhook notifications.
1000 times yes. This is an area where Front is way ahead of Missive, in terms of integrations towards third-party software. Zapier would go a long way towards making that gap smaller.
For me I really need to be able to push notifications into chat channels, the way Slack allowed us to reduce the amount of clutter emails with notifications was great, and it's one area where Missive feels like a really big step backwards.
