Hi, I just want to try to bump this task up the list. I think adding a priority that you could customize in settings. By standard, low, medium, high is probably enough, but in our company we like to have very low, low, medium, high, critical.

It seems like a really quick win task, and we have a lot of tasks. You put a date because we tried to make the date, but the problem with that is that a date is an expectation of when it should be completed. It doesn't mean that it can't shift, and priorities help with this. It's pretty standard in all task management, and I really think that this would be a small fix to add in For the Missive team and a quick win.

Especially when you consider AI agents now actively often managing such things.

Yes! Came to put in a request for this. Being able to order and prioritize task (not by date only) would be helpful.

We have favorite labels setup for this as a workaround for conversations, but it can't be applied to tasks, yet. In addition to Priority, wouldn't it be cool if you could manually order tasks to achieve your own priorities. Imagine if we could filter by priority and manually re-order tasks within the priorities like P1, P2, P3, and P4 service levels for example.

It'll be interesting to see how much Missive continues to develop tasks. Will they be a Trello/Asana/ClickUp replacement, or will they take Google's mindset with Keep, and maintain a barebones mindset.
