I see several feature requests regarding .ics file handling, including this one marked as "COMPLETE."

However, as of September 2026, .ics attachments show "Accept," "Maybe," and "No" buttons, but they don't seem to work as expected.

When I click Yes, I just have an error message saying it can't access to our calendars, so accepting an invitation doesn't actually add the event to our calendar.

The only solution is to save the .ics and then open it with Outlook.

Curious, do we have to do anything to make it work or does this work automatically? Do I need to integrate my ical calendar?

I concur with this request and only want to add the specific need to see the basic details contained in an attached .ics file. These details are something like:

Event Name: Sales Meeting with Acme Co.

Time: Friday, September 4, 2020 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific

Invitees: Bob Smith, Jane Doe, Nick Canon, Sarah Parker

Optional: Frank Sinatra

Response (CTAs): Accept, Tentative, Decline

Currently this is the single reason I can't use missive or reccomend it to our organization. We use and receive ics calendar invites constantly. Your app is excellent in every other way, has cross platform and a ton of innovative features. But because it lacks this basic functionality I continue to check in on it and then go back to Spark or outlook if people are on PC's.

No doubt. This would be amazing. Currently having to manually add unlike any other program. Please add this! :)
