We’ve just released an update with a few AI improvements in rules.
We’re going to go ahead and mark this as completed as it’s a bit broad. Don’t hesitate to create a new post per improvement if you are still missing specific features.

p.s. Harry we will improve a lot of those soon.
Next release should include: Assigning an alias signature when creating a draft with AI rule action + others things. Stay tuned.

I agree that it can just be improved in general. I think the user experience of picking a prompt and having it drafted and editing the prompts is a bit clunky, which discourages myself and the other people on my team from using it. I feel like with a few modifications, the experience could be a lot better.
And I'm looking forward to a potential update where they make it great!

YES. It annoys me every day. AI Reply doesn't understand context and refers exclusively to the content of the last email... even if it doesn't make any sense at all. Time flies, and AI integration is unfortunately no longer up to date. Our team has actually given up on using it.

Terrible is an exaggeration but it is true that for such good software the AI implementation could be better. I think Missive is doing well lately and I know you're a small team but I cant help but share my thoughts on this topic because a polished AI implementation has the potential to save so much time for Missive users.

Harry O'Brien Yes. They need to lean into AI more heavily. AI feels bolted on, but needs to be seamless as it will quickly become essential to workflows
