Right now, only OpenAI has an integration in Missive. It would be great to be able to use Gemini as well, especially since Missive works so well with Gmail. I would bet that many of their clients use Gemini as well, all in the Google Workspace.

+1 for this. Expanding model options would be a massive value-add for Missive. I’ve previously suggested OpenRouter because it serves as a single gateway to the entire AI ecosystem—from lightning-fast open-source models to the most powerful LLMs. Currently, the native OpenAI integration feels sluggish and is lagging behind on versions; while the industry has moved toward newer iterations (like 5.2), we are still limited to 5.0. OpenRouter support would instantly solve the version lag and give users the speed and flexibility they need.

AI integration is a mess at this time. It needs a general overhaul.

Integrating more models should be a part of it.

This. Or even better: an OpenRouter or Novita integration so that you can choose your own AI assistant (and change it when needed as every month there’s another AI that’s better than the current one)
