The problem: AI conversation names are often generic and unhelpful (e.g. "Summarise Conversation") because they're based on the action requested rather than the subject matter.
Two suggested improvements:
Better naming - Include something subject-related in the conversation name, perhaps in brackets, so it's easier to identify and find later.
Persistent linking (the stronger idea) - When a Missive conversation is tagged/referenced in an AI assistant conversation, a permanent under-the-hood connection should be created between them. This means:
You could navigate from a Missive conversation and instantly see any AI conversations that were started in relation to it.
You wouldn't need to remember or search for the AI conversation manually, because the link would already exist from the moment the Missive conversation was tagged.
The core ask is: make AI conversations discoverable through their relationship to the Missive conversations they were about, rather than relying on a descriptive (and often vague) name.
