Mark as unread keyboard shortcut not working
complete
Ed Lyons
Further to my post last week, it seems the mark as unread function is now working again, but only if using the mouse (right click > mark as unread).
If you use the Gmail keyboard shortcut (Shift + U), visually the conversation still looks "read" - i.e. doesn't go bold, blue fot etc. However the status does seem to update - if you use the shortcut and then right click to mark as unread, the option is actually Mark as read.
Hopefully this makes sense.

Thanks a lot for reporting Ed. You are right, this bug is only visual. The conversation is correctly marked as unread, but isn’t displayed as blue immediately. If you move to a different mailbox and come back, it will be blue. We will fix this in our next release.

Rafael Masson: This was marked as complete but doesn't seem to have been fixed in the latest release?

Ed Lyons: Looks to be working on our end. On what platform are you? When pressing Shift + U on Missive 6.0.1 you don’t see a light blue pin appear like the screenshot attached?
Ed Lyons
Etienne Lemay: No - still having the same problem where the message is technically marked as unread using the shortcut, but visually nothing changes. I'm on Version 6.0.1 (6.0.1) - MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.3

Ed Lyons: I think I may know why. Is it possible that the conversation is a chat conversation? If you right-click, is there a “Mark as unread” option?
Right now it’s not possible to mark conversations without messages as unread. That has however been overlooked when using the shortcut. Syncing should fix the unread count.
Ed Lyons
Etienne Lemay: No - definitely email threads, not chats...

Happy to take a screencast if this would help, but it's the same thing I was seeing a few weeks back

Ed Lyons: Roger that. Could you please email me (etienne@missiveapp.com) the link of that conversation to help me investigate? See the following image showing how to do so with right-click. Rest assured we will not see your email contents. We will only look at our logs to see what happened to these conversations.
Thanks!
