Right now, applying a label takes two clicks (open the label menu, then select the label). For labels I use constantly, that adds up across a high-volume inbox.

I'd love the ability to "favorite" or pin a few frequently-used labels and have them appear as dedicated one-click buttons directly in the conversation toolbar, alongside actions like Assign, Archive, and Snooze. Click once, label applied.

Ideally:

Let each user choose which labels get pinned as buttons (since everyone uses different ones)

Allow a few of them (3 to 5) rather than just one

Optionally let the buttons show the label color so they're easy to spot at a glance

This would meaningfully speed up triage for anyone managing a busy or shared inbox where the same handful of labels get applied over and over.
