Option to clear spam folders
E.T. Cook
An option to clear the spam folder without having to select the messages and delete them in batches would be great.
I often look through the spam to make sure there were no false positives, and then once I'm done, permanently delete them. This would be great at both an individual spam folder level as well as unified.

Yes please, I don't like having to click on spam messages and see what's inside them before I can delete them

This generates a lot of friction need to go to your browser to open Gmail and lookup for the Spam folder only to clear it when most of the email clients allow it to do it directly
Richard Ludlow
Yeah this would be a really great feature to have!

Yes! I have a muscle memory from my previous mail app(s) that continues to right-click on the Spam folder and in the hopes that I can clear it with a contextual menu item.

So that's a possibility, if you're looking for a UI pattern.

This would save me hours every month. And Luis Shemtov is correct. Being forced to select messages is a security and privacy threat.

100%.
to currently do this you must click an item, and them select all - thus loading images in that email which is a privacy and security threat!
