I also strongly need this feature! As a new user with a full inbox of old emails to process, being able to apply rules to all historical emails (not just new ones) would be crucial to organizing my inbox, correcting mistakes, and speeding up retroactive categorization. If this request hadn’t already been submitted, I would have definitely posted it myself.

Absolutely need this. I am creating many new rules now and need to have it apply to my entire inbox history not just that particular email and going forward. My inbox is a mess and very time consuming to go email by email to move them.

I'm unable to troubleshoot many rules without this. To troubleshoot complex rules, I would need to be able to see the difference between "Run all rules" or "Run current rule" to execute only one rule. I would also like to be able to preview the impact of running these rules before applying them similar to how Gmail does it.

Absolutely back this! The set up process for users who are migrating from another platform is immense, so this would help so much and make the initial thoughts on Missive much more positive!
