I’d like to request the ability to schedule internal chat messages.
Missive already lets us schedule emails to send at a chosen date and time. We’d like the same option for internal chat: write a message to a teammate or team chat now, and have Missive send it automatically at the date and time we choose.
This would help us:
  • Prepare reminders, updates, and announcements ahead of time and have them arrive when they’re most relevant.
  • Respect teammates’ working hours across time zones, by writing messages whenever it suits us and delivering them during the recipient’s working hours.
  • Keep communication consistent, without relying on someone to remember to send time-sensitive messages manually.
Slack offers this feature, and our team relied on it regularly. Adding it to Missive would make internal chat work the same way as email scheduling and help us keep all our team communication in Missive.
