Split / fork conversations

Opposite to the new merge feature, I'd like to be able to split emails for when those who are part of the conversation should no longer be privy to what's being said. This is especially important because people emailing me and my colleagues have no expectation that the emails are being shared/viewed by more than just the recipient.

We’ve added a “Move email to…” option to email message. You can now fork a conversation by moving a specific email into a new conversation (private or shared).

This is an essential feature to better manage your emails. Grouping conversations by theme requires merge and fork. Front has succeeded in integrating this function. I think it is underestimated. It should be a selling point.

Merged in a post:
Unmerge email from existing conversation.

Would be great if a drop down menu at the top right of a message would give you the option to "remove this email/item from this conversation" and then gives options to "move to a new conversation", "without creating a new conversation" so that it's not deleted but just removed from the conversation.
The scenario for this is a situation where I have a topic that started off with only 1, and then 2 other email participants, but has now had several additional paricipants added to the mix. This now needs to be broken down into individual conversations with these various participants.

Please support this on all channels, not only email

This is the biggest feature we miss from Front

I absolutely agree.
It's a very important feature.
Exactly:
1) split threads;
2) possibility to delete single emails inside a conversation.

Hoping this can be prioritised, it's just as important as the merge ability (which is fantastic)

Etienne Lemay Philippe Lehoux Rafael Masson I just sent an email that included a team member who uses Missive as well as several staff that do not use Missive. I received a reply to the email (just to me) from a non-user that the team member should not have seen. However, Missive not only gives her access to the email, but I can't even remove her because she was part of the first email.
Either the ability to split out emails or better handling of forking by the software are imperative. Thank you.

I need to delete individual emails or split them from the shared conversation
