Congrats to Jean-Philippe Sirois our new employee second contribution! (https://missiveapp.com/blog/meet-jp)

So happy to see this is in progress! On my phone I've swiped on an email to archive at the same time as my list of emails are refreshing and archived a different important email and never found it... YAY!

On mobile - undo last archived or present a warning before archiving
James Thurlow-Craig
On the IOS app, it’s great how you can easily archive however it’s actually too easy and when swiping right to try and open the side menu I’m often accidentally archiving sometimes important emails and then I have no way to work out which email it was. There should be perhaps a timed undo which appears across the front or a recently archived tab to see which message it was

This simple feature is long overdue for Missive! Especially given the confusing interaction of swiping diagonally to select multiple emails and archive/action them at once which often causes accidental selection and even lost mail. Please rethink this bad UX paradigm.

Jake Kushner: p.s. You can disable the Multi-conversations swipe in your Swipes settings.

Visible notification after deleting/archiving (and undo option)
e.no | Eno Thiemann
When I delete or archive any conversation, there is no notification (as there is when sending) about what I just did (Web, Android, Windows). In other e-mail apps you see a short info plus the option to undo it for a few seconds.
This is especially useful if you hit shortcuts involuntarily and try to realise what happened :).

On Mobile Also... MUCH rather prefer a UI to UNDO. Why? Because I've already dropped my phone TWICE while "shaking" my phone to undo something. (It's a "neat" feature but it doesn't seem too practical or safe to "shake" your phone just to undo something)
